This article is based on supplied records of Stripchat’s official purchase screen and the crypto checkout dated 29 October 2026, using the Japan checkout (prices in JPY). It is not a live checkout report. Payment options and prices can differ by region and can change, so always confirm on the official screen before you pay.

The short answer
In one line, the benefit of paying with cryptocurrency is this: you can buy without a card, starting small, one payment at a time.
- You check out without typing a card number into the purchase screen
- The purchase itself is not charged to a card, so it does not reach your card statement as a billing-provider charge. If you bought the crypto with a card, though, that purchase on the funding side is still recorded
- The smallest pack is smaller than by card: from 88 coins ≈¥1,480 (the card minimum is 190 coins ¥2,980; verified 29 October 2026)
- Payment is a one-off transfer from your wallet. On the crypto screens we checked, the membership free-trial checkbox did not appear
- The currencies you could actually select included USDC, BTC and SOL. USDT, although named on the purchase screen, could not be found on the checkout list (details below)
This suits you if you care about how charges show on a card statement, want to test with a small amount first, or already use a crypto wallet. If you have neither a wallet nor an exchange account, setting everything up just for this is more effort than it is worth — a card or PayPal is simpler. Token and payment checklist
Benefit 1: You can buy without entering card details
Choose crypto and checkout moves to CoinGate, the payment provider, where you pay by sending from your own wallet. There is no step where you type a card number or security code into the purchase screen.
Fewer places holding your card details means less exposure if you want to keep the risk of leaks or misuse low. The payment also runs entirely on the wallet and balance you already use, so it is easy to keep this spending separate from your cards.
Benefit 2: The purchase itself is not charged to your card
Because the payment is a transfer from your wallet, this coin purchase does not appear as a charge on a card statement. The whole “what will this be billed as?” question that comes with card payments simply does not arise in this form.
One point is easy to misunderstand, though: how you obtained the crypto is a separate matter.
- If you funded an exchange or wallet by card or bank transfer, that funding side is recorded as usual
- The transfer itself is also recorded in your wallet’s transaction history
So crypto is best understood not as a way to erase records, but as a way to keep the Stripchat purchase itself separate from your card statement.
Benefit 3: The smallest pack is smaller, so you can start with less
In the pack line-up verified on 29 October 2026, the smallest crypto pack was 88 coins ≈¥1,480. Cards and JCB start at 190 coins ¥2,980, and PayPal also starts at ¥2,980 — so crypto has the lowest first step of the four methods.
There are 11 crypto packs in total, up to 62,580 coins ≈¥748,000. But every crypto price carries a “≈” and is an estimate: the purchase screen itself states that displayed prices are estimates and the final amount is set at checkout. The sensible approach is to start small, confirm that the transfer flow works and the coins arrive, and only then decide on a next purchase.
Benefit 4: Each payment is a separate transfer, kept apart from subscriptions
A crypto payment is sent from your wallet each time. The purchase screen itself also presents coin buying as a one-off arrangement, stating in Japanese “a secure one-time payment — no additional fees” (verified 29 October 2026).
On top of that, the Ultimate membership free-trial checkbox that appeared on the card and PayPal screens did not appear on the crypto screen we checked. It is a small, practical difference: there is less room for a trial to start as a side effect of buying coins.
You also choose the amount yourself, pack by pack. That makes it easy to cap a month at “this pack and no more” (this is an editorial suggestion for how to use it, not a platform feature).
Benefit 5: A working alternative route when a card will not do
The supplied Japan checkout record lists four payment methods: credit/debit card, JCB card, PayPal, and cryptocurrency (verified 29 October 2026). If you have had a card declined on an overseas or adult site before, having a wallet-transfer route at all is a benefit in itself.
The checkout also offers wallet connections, and the major wallets — Phantom, MetaMask, Trust Wallet and others — appeared among the connectable options. Many people can simply use the wallet they already have.
How crypto compares with card and PayPal
| Item | Card / JCB | PayPal | Crypto |
|---|---|---|---|
| Payment provider | Paymentico or Epoch | Epoch | CoinGate |
| Smallest pack (verified 29 Oct 2026) | 190 coins ¥2,980 | 168 coins ¥2,980 | 88 coins ≈¥1,480 |
| Card number entry | Required | Managed on PayPal’s side | Not required (wallet transfer) |
| How it shows up | Billed under the provider’s name (Epoch reads “EPOCH.COM *Technius”) | Via Epoch | This purchase itself is not a card charge; funding-side records are separate |
| Trial checkbox | Appears on packs of 535+ coins (unticked by default) | Also appears | Not shown on the screen we checked |
| Price certainty | As displayed | As displayed | Estimates; the final amount is set at checkout |
At the same ¥2,980, a card buys 190 coins against PayPal’s 168, and larger card packs can win on per-coin price. Crypto is not always the cheapest option — it is the option you choose for how the charge shows up, and for how small you can start.
Which currencies and networks actually work
The purchase screen says you can pay with “40+ cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, USDT, USDC, Ethereum, Solana and XRP”. But when we opened the actual CoinGate checkout on 29 October 2026, the currencies we could confirm on the list were these:
USDC / Bitcoin (BTC) / Litecoin (LTC) / Ethereum (ETH) / TRON (TRX) / Solana (SOL) / EURC / Binance Coin (BNB) / XRP / Polygon (POL) / Dogecoin (DOGE)
USDT, although named on the purchase screen, was not in the part of this list we could check. Before obtaining or moving crypto, check the currencies and networks available in your current checkout. Options can change, so confirm on the checkout list when you buy.
If you are paying from a Phantom wallet
- Choose USDC (network: Solana) or SOL
- USDC was also selectable on Ethereum / Polygon / Arbitrum / Base / Optimism
- Phantom is among the wallets that can connect at checkout
- The supplied record did not confirm support for USDT on Solana; do not send a currency or network that your current checkout does not list
Drawbacks and points to check
Deciding on the benefits alone is how mistakes happen, so here are the cautions first-hand.
- Prices are estimates. The final amount is set at checkout. With a volatile currency such as BTC, the quantity you send changes with timing. Check the required currency, amount, network and sending fee at checkout; no currency choice guarantees a fixed final cost
- A transfer on the wrong network may not be recoverable. USDC on one network is a different thing from USDC on another. Before sending, check both the currency and the network against what you selected at checkout. A transfer sent to the wrong place may not come back
- There is setup involved. With no wallet and no crypto, you would need an exchange account, identity verification and a transfer into a wallet. If that effort outweighs the benefit, there is no need to force crypto — a card or PayPal is simpler for many people
- Check the sending-side fee. Depending on the wallet and network, sending may incur a fee. Before you confirm, check the amount and the fee together on your wallet’s screen
- Funding-side records remain. As noted above, buying crypto at an exchange or by card leaves its own records. Expecting a payment method nobody can see would be the wrong expectation
How paying works, step by step
This is the flow within the scope verified at checkout. No screenshots of screens showing payment details are included.
- Log in and open “Buy coins”
- Select cryptocurrency as the payment method and pick a pack (for a first attempt, the smallest pack, 88 coins ≈¥1,480, limits the amount involved but does not remove transfer risk)
- You move to the CoinGate checkout
- Select the currency and network to send (for example, USDC / Solana)
- Connect your wallet, or follow the on-screen instructions to send
- Before sending, cross-check three things against your wallet’s display: currency, network and amount
- Afterwards, check on Stripchat that your coin balance at the top of the screen has increased
If the amount or currency does not look right midway, close the screen without confirming the transfer and start the selection again.
FAQ
Can I pay with USDT?
The purchase screen names USDT, but on 29 October 2026 the CoinGate currency list we checked did not include it. In practice, the working options are the currencies that appear at checkout, such as USDC and SOL.
Can I use a Phantom wallet?
Yes. Phantom appears among the connectable wallets at checkout. Choose USDC (network: Solana) or SOL. The supplied record did not confirm support for USDT on Solana. Check current availability before obtaining or sending funds.
If I pay with crypto, does anything show on my statement?
The coin purchase itself is not charged to a card, so it does not reach a card statement in that form. Records of buying the crypto at an exchange or by card, and of the wallet transfer itself, do still exist.
Can I buy without a credit card?
Yes. Alongside cards, the Japan purchase screen offers PayPal and cryptocurrency (verified 29 October 2026). The smallest crypto pack, 88 coins ≈¥1,480, also lets you start smaller than the smallest card pack.
How do I check the currency and network?
Read the currencies and networks listed at your current checkout, then match both with the sending settings in your wallet. Also review the final amount and network fee before confirming. A currency name alone is not enough to establish compatibility.
What happens if I send on the wrong network?
Crypto transfers cannot be cancelled as a rule, and a transfer sent on the wrong network may not be recoverable. Starting small and cross-checking before you send are the best protection.
